It's somewhat head-scratching how certain bands get forgotten over time. Take the band Triumph for example. This hard-rock trio from Canada had the hits and could "bring it" on stage.
In the early to mid-80s, Triumph rose to prominence thanks to the singles "Hold On", "Lay It On The Line", "Magic Power", "Never Surrender", "Somebody's Out There", and "Fight the Good Fight", which remains among the highlights of the 1983 US Festival. Check out Rik Emmett (lead vocals/guitars), Gil Moore (drums), and Mike Levine (bass) finish out their nine-song set with this epic rendition of "Fight The Good Fight". Some say Triumph was the best of the bands to perform that weekend. Hard to argue after watching the band's killer set!
